Jim was born in Mississippi and grew up in western Tennessee. He moved to Virginia in 2002 and has been a member of Knox Reformed Presbyterian Church since that time. He has been married to his wife, Sally since 1994. He has also worked for FedEx Express for over 30 years. Jim has been a ruling elder since 2009. He is a lover of history, and is currently seeking to complete his bachelors degree in American History.
