Please make plans to join us for our annual Lessons and Carols service on Friday, December 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in Bible readings from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir music. This service is a very special way to celebrate “the reason for the season.”
Communion will also be served at this service.
With the cancelation of Wednesday night service on 12/22, the choir practice will start early at 7:00 p.m. rather than the normal time of 8:15 p.m. See you there!
Attention oboe players! The music director is looking for a volunteer oboist to help accompany the choir on one song this fall. The oboe part is short and moderately easy. (If you can read the trebel clef, you can play this!) Plenty of rehearsal time will be provided.

The choir will be holding open rehearsals on Wednesday, July 21 and 28, from 8:15 – 9:15 pm in the church sanctuary. All voices and levels of experience are welcome. There is no audition, and no obligation to join. Come and make a joyful noise with us as we praise the Lord!
